this new kinja format sucks on mobile, loading times are unbelievably horrible and is constantly conflicting against Swype. How do the people who made it like this even have jobs?

...pretty sure it just sucks everywhere.

I am still struggling to figure out how this tool bar covering the first few lines of text hasn't been fixed yet

Probably because it's a relatively small group of people developing for a user base of millions. They can't test everything. As a computer science student, I know how it feels to be writing a program that will then be thrown into millions of different situations (tests). It's incredibly frustrating.

Ever since they "fixed" things I can't play gifs in the comments. Half the time I can't even if it's in the main post. If there's more than one in the post I can only choose one and then have to refresh.

you'd think that there would at least be some sort of realization that kinja sucks on any mobile platform.

It's not great, but it runs just fine on my iPhone 5. I know that Android browsers are a bit harder to support.

just hide the keyboard and then bring it back. It's not inconvenient, it's a feature!

Try clearing your caches/cookies. Sometimes that makes a huge difference.

I like to think they're trying, but usability often doesn't seem high on the list of priorities.
